Part Time Weekend Caregiver Shifts in the Tooele/Grantsville area! Part-time weekend only shifts $14.00/hr. These shifts are in private residences in the community in Salt Lake County. These Part Time shifts do not included befits.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CAREGIVER / DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL

As a Caregiver / Direct Support Professional, you support adults with developmental disabilities and brain injuries to live their best lives as independently as possible. In a residential setting or at our day program, you assist your clients with daily living activities and use effective teaching and mentoring techniques to teach them new skills and help them achieve goals. You are happy to assist with educational skills and recreational activities while providing a safe environment and helping them find greater access to the community.

You are conscientious about reporting any concerns about their health and safety and keeping documentation accurate and up-to-date. You are energized by the dynamic team of people you work with and find the work of supporting people with developmental disabilities and brain injuries to live amazing lives according to their own needs and desires extremely rewarding!

QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years old or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Own a smart phone
• Reliable transportation and a good driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test

WORK SCHEDULE

Full-time schedules are generally 8-hour shifts 5 days each week (35-40hours/week). Part-time schedules are typically 8-hour shifts 3 days per week or 4-hour shifts 5 days each week (24-25hours/week). Many shifts are during the day, and we have some shifts may be in the evening or on weekends.
